Close Encounters

There are generally considered to be three levels of human-alien interaction. These have been defined as

• CE1: A UFO in close proximity - within approximately 500 feet - of the Witness
• CE2: A UFO that leaves markings on the ground, causes burns or paralysis to humans, interferes with car engines or TV and radio reception.
• CE3: A CE-1 or CE-II that has visible occupants.
