Children of the Lens

It has been a time of peace - organised Boskonian activities had come to a halt after the fall of Thrale and the local authorities could handle what little piratical activity remained. Kim and Clarrissa had been happily married for twenty years and they had a handsome and intelligent son soon to graduate as a Lensman and two pairs of twin daughters who despite the best efforts of their mother, were not growing up to be what Clarrissa would consider to be terribly ladylike. So, everything seems peachy as Kim, Clarrissa and the girls make their way from Klovia to Earth to see Kit graduate.

However, Kim's hiding a dark secret! Everything is not as peaceful as it would appear!

For isolated incidents of psychotic activities were breaking out all over the galaxy. On a local basis, nothing to worry about maybe, but in the galaxies as a whole, the picture was disturbing indeed!

And it would be Kim's son Kit that would be ordered to look into the situation as the top ranked Lensman graduate!

Kim, Worsel, Tregonsee and Nadreck all return to active duty, as does Clarrissa - still the only official female Lensperson.

Much less officially the Kinnison daughters also go to work for, unknown to their parents, they, and their brother, were the end line of a breeding programme that had lasted for the whole of humanity's existence!

Their target: the indescribable planet Eddore and its force shielded High Council!
