Keith Roberts

(Born 1935, died 2000)

Keith Roberts is both a writer and illustrator and lives in the south of England where most of his stories are set. He first started writing in 1964, sometimes publishing under the name of Alistair Bevan. As well as being a writer and illustrator, he has done a stint as editor of the now defunct magazines Science Fantasy and SF Impulse. His first novel was published in 1966.

Many of his novels, including his second, Pavane, were fixups of short stories. He wrote both Science Fiction and Fantasy with equal craft.
