Born in Scotland, David Pringle is probably best known as the founder of the British science fiction magazine Interzone, a position he held until it's sale to Andy Cox in 2004.
However, he has also had a career writing a number of 'best of...' guides to science fiction and has written a biography of J G Ballard.
