Frederik Pohl has been involved with science fiction for the vast majority of his life, first as a fan, then later as editor of Galaxy. He is also a Hugo winning author.
While a teenager in Brooklyn, New York, Frederik founded the Futurians Fan Club, along with such luminaries as Isaac Asimov.
