As well as writing in the WH 40K mileau, he's also written in the Warhammer fantasy mileau. Before moving abroad to the Czech Republic, William spent time in the infamous Games Workshops as part of the design team.
After marrying his long-term girlfriend, William returned to Scotland with his family where he intends to settle.
